Community Projects

These are the projects that won our open call

EkoPulz (Slovakia)

A biodiversity garden in front of the UCM faculty building in Trnava — pallet-built benches, a book-swap box, and an insect hotel around a wildflower meadow, giving students a place to rest, read, and reconnect with campus green space.

School Rest Zone Connected to Nature (Slovakia)

A calm outdoor rest area for students and teachers at a Trnava vocational school, built from reused materials to double as an environmental-education space — designed to stay usable with minimal upkeep for at least 10 years.

Urban & Funky Garden (Slovenia)

Turning an underused courtyard behind the Celje Youth Center into a green community hub — raised garden beds, a mini amphitheatre, a pergola doubling as a cinema screen, and a chill zone for events and everyday hangouts.

REGAME (Slovenia)

Original brain games built from waste wood, old gift bags, and used cables — turning discarded materials into playable, teachable objects that spread circular-economy thinking through collaboration and problem-solving.

The Steps Community Garden (Bulgaria)

A community garden and events space built with "The Steps" community and local youth — rainwater collection, composting, and seed-saving turn an unused spot into a place for connection, skill-sharing, and stress relief.
